Whats the difference between Omega 3, fish oil 1000 mg and Faxseed?

I am using the Omega 3 from Vitamin World for weight loss and they said that its better to use the Flaxseed.|||Fish oil is a great source of Omega 3 Fatty Acids. All fish oil is omega 3 but not all omega 3 is fish oil! There are other sources such as walnuts, soybean, salmon and, of course, flax seed. But flax seed also has Omega 6 and 9's which need to be consumed in much lower quantities. We probably get enough of these in our standard american diets...it's the 3's we're deficient in.

Also, most over the counter versions of fish oil are the same!

All the latest research says that there is no mercury in fish oil tablets so ignore claims that say "wild caught" and "mercury free" are better for you. These are just scams to make you think their product is better and it's not, just more expensive. It's best to buy the concentrated version so that you don't have to take as much and reduces the chances of "fish" taste. Best of luck to you!|||theres really not much of a difference at all.....fish oil, flax oil, hemp oil, cod oil, etc......they are ALL full of omega 3-6-9 fatty acids.....basically, they are "healthy" fats. essential fatty acids are EXTREMELY healthy for you. switching from one to the other though will have little or no difference with fatburning. focus more on your diet and exercise for that goal.
