In Omega 4 section of Mass Effect 2 and Miranda is not loyal. How can I keep her alive without her being loyal?

I have a save just before I'm supposed to go to the Omega 4 relay but after the crew has been abducted. I don't want to lose more crew (already set to lose Chambers) but Miranda is still not loyal. Is there any way to keep her alive without having to gain back her loyalty? Or is that the only way to keep her alive?|||Don't give her any special assignments and don't take her to the final boss. When fighting the boss the rest of the squad that's not with you has to be a strong defensive group to fight off collectors. Miranda will end up in this group so make sure Garrus, Grunt and Zaeed aren't fighting the boss either so you have a good defensive second team. Take squishy characters to the boss instead. It's recommended to send Mordin back to the Normandy first and then taking Tali and Jack to the boss.You'll have one offensive team fighting with you and one defensive team with a disloyal Miranda who will survive.





So this setup for instance would work:





Vent specialist: Legion


Fire Team leader 1 %26amp; 2: Garrus


Biotic: Samara


Crew escort: Mordin


Final squad: Tali %26amp; Jack|||Just so everyone knows: There is nothing random in the suicide mission and there is no luck. If someoen dies then there's always something you could have done to prevent it.

I used one of the guides and managed to keep everyone alive.|||loyalty does play a factor but being unloyal does not mean they die. I had a unloyal person on my crew live and legion who was loyal and put in the job he was suposed to still took a sniper round to the skull. Its part loyalty, part there assignment, part luck.|||Don't send her on any missions e.g. Fire Team commander, and don't choose her to go with you at the final boss fight as any characters with you at the time that are not loyal will die. Whether or not she dies after that is up to chance, I guess.
