How do you know the current price of old omega watches?

Both my parents have an omega watch, and they are now more than 20 years old. We were wondering what value do these watches have right now. They function perfectly and they are very very thin. My parents say that theses watches were bought for around $500. I would like to know if they have any value today, since I know that watches - like coins - have a value the older they get.

Any help is appreciated!!|||You can go to this web:http://www.buy-cheap-rolex-watches.com/ or visit http://www.cheaprolexshop.com/ reliable online shops,i found they sell many Omega watches.Hope helpful!|||Old watches often do hold their value and, exceptionally, can appreciate in value. If they are genuine Omega watches and cost around $500 twenty years ago it is possible they are still worth several hundred dollars or more, but you can only find out for sure by checking with an expert. I suggest you find somebody who deals in secondhand watches locally and go ask them for a valuation. You might find some guidance from eBay auctions or one of the several books published which gives rough valuations of old watches, but you need to know exactly which model you have. The Omega web site might help you - see below.|||You might want to see if any of these types of watches are listed on e-bay. Remember the value of something is really only dependent on what someone else is willing to pay.|||Go on Ebay and see what people are paying|||you should go into a jewelery store and they could tell you
